Microfiber is a scientifically-engineered ultra-fine synthetic fiber yarn that, when woven into cloth, has millions of wedge-shaped cross sections that can trap and remove dirt to provide effective cleaning power without the use of soap or detergent. A cloth made from microfiber has a surface area 60-100 times larger than a comparable cotton cleaning cloth, allowing Microfiber to absorb more than 4 times as much water yet still dry in 1/3 of the time. Microfiber products are also extremely durable and last up to 10 times longer than cotton or other synthetic fibers.
